Rafting in Kashmir: Lidder and Sindh Rivers

Kashmir offers excellent rafting from April to September. Lidder River in Pahalgam: Grade II-III rapids, 12km stretch from Pahalgam to Aishmuqam. Suitable for beginners with guides. Sindh River near Sonamarg: Grade III-IV rapids, more challenging, 15km stretch. Both rivers flow through scenic valleys. Professional operators provide equipment and guides. Safety briefings mandatory. Wear life jackets and helmets. Book certified operators only. Best months: May-June (high water). Cost: ₹500-1500 per person. Combined with camping packages.
